COOL RHODES is a private company, based in Rhodes, licensed by the competent Regional Tourism Authority to provide rental services of Private Passenger Vehicles with and/or without a driver.
COOL RHODES provides the best chauffeur service for Rhodes to travel around the island in top class new shape and comfortable rental cars and SUV’s.
The Customer acknowledges that he/she has read, understood and accepted the Terms and Conditions set out below and agrees that:
For rental services of Private Passenger Vehicles without a driver:
1. Age of the driver: For all categories of cars the minimum age limit is 21 years.
2. Driving license: The driver must have a Greek license or a license issued in a European country or International (for countries outside the European Union), issued at least 1 year ago and valid.
3. Minimum rental time: one day (24 hours). After the 24-hour rental period has expired and 60 minutes have elapsed, an additional charge of one day will be imposed on the agreed rental fee.
4. Picking-up the car: At the beginning of the rental the renter must bring the following documents with him/her:
– Driving license
– Credit/Debit card.
-Driver’s ID card, credit card, credit card or passport.
5. Advance Payment & Guarantee: The total cost of the rental is to be paid in advance, a credit/debit card is also required where the credit/debit card will be used to cover the deposit amounts.
6. Insurance cover: The following insurance coverages are included in the cost of the rental: 1. Bodily injury 2. Property damage, 3. Property damage by uninsured, 4. Accident care, 5. Bonus protection, 6. Legal protection, 7. Personal accident, 8. Fire, 9. Fire terrorism, 10. Total and partial theft, 11. Natural phenomena, 12. malicious acts (400 euro exemption), 13. own damage (600 euro exemption) of third parties, 14. sound system coverage, 15. property damage during attempted theft, 16. Breakage of crystals, 17. towing as a result of an accident, 18. replacement of vehicle in the event of an accident or fire/theft, 19. Air transport. The renter is solely liable for any damage not covered by the vehicle insurance policy,liability that creates an obligation for the renter to indemnify as well as to pay any positive or consequential damage arising in such cases.
7. Additional Driver: The charge is 4,00€ per day with a maximum charge per rental of 40€, plus VAT.
8. Gas: To be paid by the renter.
9. Baby seats: Daily charge is 6€, with a maximum charge per rental of 60€, plus VAT.
10. Deliveries/Pick-ups of cars: Deliveries or Pick-ups from and to:
– Airport no extra charge
– Hotels no extra charge
– Port no extra charge
11. Delivery or pickup outside of business hours: 21:00-08:00, at 23 € plus VAT.
12. GPS navigation system: daily charge 8 €, maximum charge 48 € plus VAT.
13. Transport by boat: The written approval of COOL RHODES is required. No insurance will cover any damage caused to the rental car during its transport.
14. Carriage of a car outside the Border: Carriage of a car outside the Border is not permitted.
15. Extension of rental period: Allowed upon approval by COOL RHODES, and subject to car availability.
16. Car models: Bookings are based on car category, not car model.
17. Roadside assistance: 24-hour roadside assistance is available.
18. Fines from traffic offenses: All fines and consequences of administrative penalties are the full responsibility of the renter.
19. Cancellation: In case of cancellation up to 48 hours before the car rental, the rental fee is non-refundable.
20. Taxes: All prices and extra charges include VAT.
21. Price adjustments: The general rental conditions and prices are subject to change without notice.
For rental services of Private Passenger Vehicles with a driver (chauffeur services):
1. Duration: The minimum rental period is 30 minutes.
2. Reservation: The reservation is successfully completed upon acceptance of the request by the COOL RHODES driver. Upon completion of the reservation, a transfer service is contracted.
Customer acknowledges and agrees to comply with all applicable laws when accessing or using transportation services provided by our Company. In order to obtain the above services, the Customer consents to the creation of a Passenger Identity and to provide COOL RHODES with certain personal information, including his/her first and last name, Greek Identity Card or Passport number and pick-up location. The Customer also accepts and agrees that COOL RHODES and its driver are aware of the main details of the contract such as the name of the driver, the Customer, the Customer’s ID/Passport number, the model of the Vehicle, the plate number of the Vehicle, the price, the pick-up point of the booking, the destination, the start time and the end time of the booking.
3. Cancellation of reservation: For canceling the request after the five minutes of acceptance, the Customer shall be charged a cancellation fee of EUR 10 per cancellation of the request.
4. Waiting: The Driver waits free of charge for the Customer at the pick-up area up to 5 minutes after his/her arrival. After 5 minutes, the Driver may cancel the trip and the Customer will be charged a cancellation fee of EUR 10 per cancellation request.
5. Prices and payment terms: The Customer for each transportation service shall pay the price (including any taxes and overdue fees that may be incurred) using a credit card. After payment, the Customer shall receive a confirmation of payment by e-mail.
The prices for transportation services provided in Rhodes are set as follows:
1.Comfort:
Minimum price: 36 Euros for a minimum booking duration of 30 minutes
For reservations longer than 30 minutes:
Base fare: 5 Euros
Per Kilometer: 1 Euros
Per minute: 0,3 Euros
Cancelation fee: 10 Euros
Paid waiting time per minute: 0,3 Euros starting 5 minutes after the arrival of the Driver/Vehicle at the pick-up point requested by the Customer.
In case of high demand, prices may increase. The increased price is displayed in the Uber Rider app before the trip is ordered. Changing or adding destinations may change the price.
6. Personal data: The Customer by complying with these terms and conditions, the laws and the applicable transportation regulations in Rhodes, agrees and consents to provide COOL RHODES with the personal data that will be requested, including name, Greek Identity Card or Passport number and pick-up location, in order to obtain the transportation services and authorizes COOL RHODES and its drivers to use the Customer’s personal data and other information only for the purposes of providing the transportation services.

7. Liability: COOL RHODES shall be liable for direct damages actually suffered by the Customer due to a breach of its obligations in relation to the services provided by it, subject to the provisions of the Law and these Terms and Conditions.
8. Force majeure: Any event beyond the sphere of responsibility of the parties to the contract which prevents them from fulfilling their obligations shall relieve them of those obligations for the duration of the event and its effects. In case of force majeure, each Party shall immediately inform the other Party.
9. Applicable law and jurisdiction: These Terms and Conditions and the obligations arising from or related to them shall be governed exclusively and interpreted in accordance with Greek law. The courts of Athens shall have jurisdiction to settle any dispute that may arise between the parties arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions.
The services provided by COOL RHODES are performed exclusively on the basis of these general terms and conditions, which apply to all future business relations with the Customer, even if not expressly agreed upon again. Silence on the part of COOL RHODES regarding the modification or deviation of the terms and conditions shall not imply its consent, even if it performs without reservation. COOL RHODES must inform the Customer by e-mail in the event of a change to these terms and conditions. The Customer will be deemed to have accepted this change as long as he continues to use the COOL RHODES website or to submit requests for booking transport services on it.
